| THIMBLES ON WHEELS (TOW) is a traveling thimble group. The name was chosen because mem- bers are geographically diverse and attending meetings usually involves travel necessitating a multi-night stay. As almost all forms of transportation have wheels, even planes, our name evolved. Our goal is to combine thimble meetings with intrastate, interstate, and international travel. At present, we meet several times a year on no preset schedule. Meetings are scheduled whenever and wherever someone wishes to host the group. Occasionally, we've been known to just pick a destination that interests us, as evidenced by the Branson meetings. One meeting every other year is held at the site of the Thimble Collectors International (TCI) Convention (you must be registered for the convention to attend that one). Membership is open to everyone who loves thimbles, regardless of where they live. There are NO DUES.
